Silly Detroiters - you thought the major Democratic candidates would come to DETROIT for a debate? They KNOW they have your vote regardless of what they say or do, so they've opted out of a debate, cohosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute.
Obama and Clinton aides said they intended to participate in six debates sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee. The DNC's list did not include the Fox News-CBC Institute debate, a concession to liberal and black activists who say Fox has slighted blacks and is biased in favor of conservatives.
To put this in a bit of perspective, Fox is co-sponser, alone with the Congressional BLACK CAUCUS. Hello? Did anyone notice that? The charge that Fox News is biased and racist is ridiculous. Regardless, wouldn't the fact that they are co-sponsering the event with the Congressional BLACK CAUCUS indicated that they aren't slighting blacks?
I'll tell you who they are slighting; Detroit voters. And, it's the DNC that is doing it. Because, they know that it doesn't matter what they do or say, the "D" will keeping pulling the lever for their candidates. With. Out. Fail.
No run along, Detroit. Get back out there pickin cotton. The master will tell you when to get outraged. Right now, focus on Don Imus.
