It is nine BELOW here in Michigan. As in nine degrees below zero. Our lake has been completely frozen over for two months, and I think I only briefly saw actual DIRT three weeks ago, since we've been snow covered since the first week in November.
But, daily I'm assaulted with gas taxes and milage taxes and green energy and hybred cars. The North Pole has record ice, yet the global warming alarmists are holding steadfastly impervious to facts. Global warming peaked years ago, but that doesn't matter.
And now Mr. Hope and Change has picked radical socialist*, Carol Browner, to be our brand new "energy" czar. Oh goodie. Just what we need at this moment. A socialist, global warming hysteric. An hysteric who was on the board of one of those carbon offset companies that sits to profit big at any draconian measures the government may take. No conflict of interest there.
*no, Really. Warning, that link will take you to a page of pseudo-intellectual babble. Now, I'm sure they are all intelligent. It's just that their babble is totally divorced from reality. Case in point:
