I've never been prouder to be a Republican ...

Every House Republican voted no to the "stimulus" bill. But, not just that, the bill had bipatrisian non-support, since 10 Democrats voted nay as well.

Expect Nancy Pelosi to ratched-up her "the government is the only thing that can save us" rhetoric to drum up support in the Senate. Rhetroic totally detached from the reality of the bill, which will only stimulate government and pork projects.

Only twelve cents of every dollar is tied to "stimulus" in the bill, the rest is pork. Projects that have little-to-no financial return (basically money thrown down a well), and certainly don't "stimulate" anything.

This is supposed to be a new era of bipartisanship, but this bill was written based on the wish list of every living -- or dead -- Democratic interest group. As Speaker Nancy Pelosi put it, "We won the election. We wrote the bill." So they did. Republicans should let them take all of the credit.

And they did. WELL DONE, Repubs. Obama, Nancy and Democrat voters, this is all YOURS.
